Geneva Lecture - Daniel Nayeri

Listen to an audio podcast of this program.

Geneva at Iowa welcomes Daniel Nayeri, award-winning author of Everything Sad is Untrue and The Teacher of Nomad Land.

Nayeri shares about his powerful story of becoming a refugee, beginning with his mother's brave decision to embrace Christianity in a country where it was a capital offense. His family's journey takes them from a midnight escape from secret police, to refugee camps in Italy, and finally to asylum in the United States.
