Black Future Fest

Black Future Fest is a month-long, citywide celebration in Iowa City highlighting Afrofuturistic art, literature, fashion, and community imagination across generations. Through murals, exhibitions, readings of Octavia E. Butler's work, and hands-on workshops, the festival honors Black creativity while envisioning bold, liberated futures for all.
